You may have noticed a distinct lack of blog posts recently, this is due to a number of factors, although there has been a lack of media & news appearing, it doesn't mean we haven't been riding or racing, in fact we've been all over the place doing all kinds of things, and are planning on a rad season on & off road in 2015. The nights are drawing in, the temperature is dropping, but don't let that stop you having fun & riding bikes. To keep you guys going over the incoming autumn & winter we've put together a couple of items, inspired by two Bristol institutions, both new & old. Recognisable colours given our own Das Rad Klub twist. Our first event as a team was the 2013 Oktoberfest up at Bristol's own Ashton Court. We put a team of 4 together, had a stab at the 8 hour race & came 9th. So obviously when it was time to sign up for the 2014 event we couldn't wait. Originally we had plans for more than one team, but due to various other commitments a number of riders had to stand down, meaning a last minute team was built (2 days before the event). Having fun on bikes is what it's all about, and here in Bristol there's nothing more fun than hitting the streets with a good bunch of friends.
